This will open up new opportunities and business models enabling our customers a new level of monitoring. Examples include counting cars in a parking lot, monitoring of activities in cities and urban environments, observe fluctuations in agricultural crop health on a daily basis.

The product is unique in that it is a small high-performance, superior-quality camera designed to fit into the standard CubeSat form factor.

Our engineers go the extra mile to integrate a performance control system with matched pointing and stability capabilities in an exceptionally compact space.

How do we do it? By pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with a 3U CubeSat. The CubeSat is a standard generated by the California Polytechnic University to standardize small satellite components and specifications to ensure that components are modular.

For the payload to have enough power to achieve the desired 3 meter resolution, we ensure that we capture all the light possible from the area of regard while adhering to the CubeSat’s spatial dimensions.

Our Somerset West facilities near Cape Town, South Africa, are equipped for the full assembly, alignment and testing of space-borne optical payloads.

All AIT procedures are completed on site in our 100m² class 7 cleanrooms.
